We're a studio,
not an agency.

That distinction matters more than it sounds. It changes who does your work, how fast it gets done, what it costs, and whether you get a pitch deck or a live store.

Why we exist

The gap in the market was obvious.
Nobody was filling it.

Big agencies want ₹1.5–3L/month. They put a junior on your account, the senior creative shows up for the pitch, and you wait 8 weeks to launch. The invoice lands before the store does.

Freelancers are cheaper but riskier. The Shopify "expert" on Fiverr has never run a COD campaign or thought about RTO. They deliver a pretty theme. You run ads. The store breaks.

Brikdrop sits in neither category. We're a focused studio — experienced enough to know what a D2C brand actually needs, lean enough to move in 14 days, and honest enough to tell you upfront if we're not the right fit.

We built our methodology inside real Indian D2C brands — dealing with RTO bleeds, COD economics, ad account restarts, and inventory float. We build for those realities. Not the pitch deck version of D2C.

We don't do retainer-based discovery. You shouldn't need to pay to find out what something costs.

We don't put junior people on your project. The person you message on WhatsApp is the person building your store.

We don't disappear into Slack. We work on WhatsApp, reply within 4 hours, and send Loom updates — not status decks.

We don't take every project. Two clients per month, maximum. Your project gets the full studio's attention.

We don't miss deadlines. 14 days means 14 days. If we're late and it's our fault, you get a credit. We haven't issued one yet.

Shopify only. Deep, not wide.

We've chosen one platform and gone as deep as possible. No WooCommerce, no Webflow, no custom builds. Specialisation means fewer mistakes, faster builds, and better stores.

Fixed price. Always.

Hourly billing incentivises slowness. Fixed pricing incentivises us to build fast and well. You know the number before you sign. No surprises.

Mobile-first. Always.

Most Indian D2C traffic comes from Instagram and WhatsApp. Every store we build is designed for the 6-inch screen first, desktop second.

Async communication.

No weekly Zoom calls. No status meeting theatre. WhatsApp for questions, Loom for updates. Work happens — you're not watching it happen.

Build for the pain, not the pitch.

RTO. COD economics. Abandoned checkouts. Cart recovery. We build around the actual problems Indian D2C founders face — not the best-case-scenario version of the business.
